It’s remarkably small— way smaller than the photos suggest, it’s silent and vibration-free, and didn’t require any actual installation: i plugged it into a usb port and windows instantly found it as an available drive. I dragged and dropped a ton of files onto the drive to serve as backups, and it is fast. There is nothing else as reasonably-priced that will outperform this little gem. I liked it so much that i recommended it to another family member— who ordered one the same day— and she’s as happy with it as i am.
